This little portrait was the first painting I did after taking a workshop with Michael Workman at the Fredericksburg Artist School in Texas last year. I enjoyed the workshop and meeting Michael and seeing him paint in person was pure pleasure. Taking a trip to Texas made for, "A Painting Day".

So soft looking, I feel as if I could reach out and touch Sable. Love the bluish highlights in the mane.
