I am sure working with 5 pieces at one time will give you the needed drying time between each layer application. Use a light hand and see how it goes. If you think the painting needs a little more time to dry let it sit for a few hours before adding another layer of paint. The first two paint applications should go on quickly.
I cover and save my paints with www.chicwrap.com , a plastic wrap that is so easy to use with the sliding blade. You can also save paint in small plastic containers with lids. I would love to see photos of your new works. Thanks too for the comment on my latest painting, "Far and Away". I love the idea of working small on paper. I picked up some Arches Oil Paper and am going to mask off 5 pieces and try working in a small series. My question is: can you save the mixed wax and oil in a jar if you don't use it all in one session? And if so, how long do you think it would last?

And I love the red in the painting above. :)

DawnDawn Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01432405270697933751noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1703474924592455916.post-66167147843653607952015-07-20T09:23:23.170-07:002015-07-20T09:23:23.170-07:00Sue, Thanks for the nice comment.
