When I went out to paint this grove of oaks they looked as if they were huddled together to stay warm. The breeze was a mixture of cool and warm air currents and the sun was just starting to move their way.

Hi Ruth, I haven't been blog visiting for a while, thought I'd check in with your blog and see what you've been up to. I LOVE these little palette knife landscapes you've been doing. Wonderful texture and color. I especially like "Quiet Sentinels" and "Follow the Fence Line." Very inspiring to me!
Just catching up...the energy in your paintings is palpable. Love those accents of blue at the bottom.
