Summer is coming in like a summer storm. The change in temperature and landscape have all moved on from the cooler temperatures and greens of spring. It won't be long and we will need shelter from the sun storm. It has been, "A Painting Day".

I like this bold composition, Ruth. You are always nudging -sometimes pushing!- at the boundaries.
Bruce, As you know I usually paint in a much quieter palette than the painting today, "Sun Storm". The colors were mixed so I started. Very different for sure. Thanks for the comment.

I can feel the heat when I look at this painting! Wonderful contrast of color and value.
