California has been in drought for the past year. We need rain and it looks like the next storm will bring maybe more than we want all in one dose. We are supposed to receive several inches of rain in a two day period. With the last storm the ground took a deep drink. With the coming storm the creek will fill closing the road out of the valley. We have extra provisions set aside knowing the power will most likely go out after just a few hours of heavy rain. As the weather changes it is exciting and a pain the the behind all in one. It has been, "A Painting Day".

Gros bisous ♡ ☼ ♡
Martine: I have a lot of pleasure to admire this work with all these sublime shades of blue. The presence of water and the sky seeking to play with the ochre of the earth ... The game is not fair ... The earth can do no more and overtaken ... In France we also suffer from the floods. The whole earth is wrong …
Ruth: Martine, Thank-you for the thoughtful comment regarding my painting. It pleases me that you like the colors and how they remind you of the earth, water and sky.
These spring colors have made me happy on this grey winter day, Ruth!
Diana, Good to see your post. Thank-you. Love your new work as well.
