The fourteenth painting in the "War Bonnet" series has been a work in progress for a few days. The palette breaths what surrounds me with golden grasses and the deep summer green oaks. The valley is alive with color making for, "A Painting Day".
Note: I decided to bring "War Bonnet - Nigadu" in for the night.

Today I have taken the "War Bonnet" series a step farther. I wanted to use "War Bonnet" as the title and number each painting in the series. I have decided to follow my Cherokee kinship  and name each painting using Cherokee language numbers. Today's painting, Tsoi, is the third painting in the "War Bonnet" series. Passing Clouds - Ruth Andre

Do you follow Interior Design Blogs? I follow a few and one of my favorites is the The Lettered Cottage. It is a fun blog and the couple, Kevin & Layla Palmer are full of ideas and inspiration. When I finished this small painting, "Passing Clouds" I thought that it would fit just right into a cottage interior. I get caught up with textures and seemingly old faded paint colors in these WISH home interiors. I also like to watch the clouds as they float by. The combination of paint and places has made for, "A Painting Day".
