Desert Son

This miniature painting is a cropped view of a horse showing the intensity of the eye as it looks out into the world.  You can feel his uncertainty mixed with a wee bit of fear.  The eye tells all.  Watching horses has made for, "A Painting Day".

I love it. I really like Loner, too. Actually, I very much look forward to seeing what painting you'll show us each day.
Love your art!

Silly me, I thought it was a small figure in a sand storm at first until I clicked on the blog and saw it was an eye. Boy did I feel foolish. Now the eye is all I can see! Interesting! Now that is cropping.
