Today was one of those days. I had computer work to catch up with in the morning and I also had a
Zorolla online class featuring
Logan Hagege in the afternoon. I love Logan's work and I was filled with pure joy and anticipation as I watched the hours tick away. I have a few paintings in process in the studio right now and they all needed a bit more time to dry before the next round of paint so I started a painting totally different from my usual western and animal portraits. The old truck is called, "Just Blue" due to its look of having better days. Actually I really love old trucks especially if they still run. Thinking made for, "A Painting Day".

I pulled up Logan Hagege's web site and although I have seen some of his work in magazines I had forgotten about him. Thanks for the reminder! His paintings are awesome. Even his small 4x4s are fantastic. Also, did not know about Zorolla and their online classes. I would have loved to have seen Hagege's demo.

Nice tint, tones and shades of blue and bits of yellow. Your line work gives it a graphic feel.

Hi Ruth, I love this subject, and I really like your colors in this ... the way some orange and gold shows through the blue-green of the truck. Interesting cropping, too ... beautiful!
