Challenge Painting One
While painting for the new online video workshops I painted two small paintings on paper. This painting, "Lagoon" is one I painted after visiting a beautiful lagoon in Malibu, California. It was a quite lagoon just a short walk from the ocean shore. I would also like to announce that this is the first of a series of small paintings on paper. I hope to paint 100 paintings as a challenge for myself. I am also in the process of ordering mats for these paintings on paper and will be offering the paintings matted and sleeved or matted with a frame. Photos will be coming soon. I love this one, too!! It really does evoke the feeling of a quiet lagoon. The colors are wonderful. Really looking forward to following your challenge!
Theresa, It was such a lovely day in Malibu and the lagoon was so quiet except for a few fish jumping. We were filming the workshop videos and the fish kept making a splashing noises. Thank-you for your comment. Ruth
