Vacations are made full of memories and it is always nice to receive a postcard from a friend or family member while they are on holiday. The art of sending a postcard or letter is slowly disappearing but I remember traveling as a kid and sending postcards along the travel trail. Traveling is one of the best ways to learn about cultures even within our own country. The people in the Mid-West or the South-West or the North-East may all speak the same language but their traditions and way of life differ from one area to the next. It is fun to get out and explore and learn there is more than what is going on in your own backyard. It has been, "A Painting Day".
