Trade Winds

As I was walking into the house late this afternoon leaving my art and the studio behind for the day,  I was thinking I needed a name for my latest painting.  I felt a cool breeze followed by a rush of air that was very warm.  I thought the mingling air currents might be similar to what it must have been like on the plains, trading ponies and beads before winter turned everything cold and white.  Still feeling the rushing air I decided the name for this painted Paint must of been sent to me as a sign that change is on its way.  Painting on Winter's Eve made for, "A Painting Day".

Vif comme le vent semble ce cheval et le titre lui va à ravir... Belle animal et vraiment très bien travaillé.

Ruth,
I liked your story about changing the name of the painting and that made it even more special. Beautiful horse and you did Trade Winds proud. Love the rich colors.

My sister and her husband raise spotted horses (that's what they call paints in Tennessee).
You've painted a beauty!
