Desert Spirit

This is the third painting of my Wild Series.  The images are small colorful studies that may later be painted again on much larger canvas'.  It has been fun to experiment with color and I have found that the spirit of the animal comes through with the color change. I will post all three works below so you can see them as a group.  It has been fun and taking another look at color has made for, "A Painting Day".

Really wonderful work, Ruth! I love that straight on, almost challenging look of the bird.

I love this series! The color is a nice change. I also like the pink piglet. I feel like he is trying to sniff me.

Fun series. I LOVE the bird, and also your pink piglet. Great little pieces.
Enjoyed your painting of Mystery that you have in your home and the story of the mishap/adventure in Missouri!!! Glad to hear things are going better with the meds. I also have a little chihuahua girl I am having to medicate, but that's easy- in the house, down to 1 pill a day, and she's a "piggy" so she actually eats the pill right up!!! She thinks it's a treat and she's "special"- no one else gets one! She never tastes the "icky" thing. Hahaha!
