I have a fascination for petrified wood. I love seeing the fields of fallen petrified trees. The whole idea of it amazes me. During a recent trip across country my husband and I stopped at a curio shop in Arizona mainly just to check out the petrified wood. I had to have just one little bit of it to take home. I think shopping across the country is one of the fun things in life. Reading the signs as the miles pass by and you just know that milk shake just over the next hill is the best in the world and needs to be tested. My traveling memories have made for, "A Painting Day".
