"Yellow Sky"

After a few days painting commissioned landscape paintings for a patron in southern California I took my time today to paint just for me. The title, "Yellow Sky" came to me when I started thinking how we take the natural landscape colors for what they are. My thought was to ask, what if the sky were yellow? How different it all would be. So good to be back in the studio for, "A Painting Day".
