"River Grass"
Triptych
24"x18"x2" Oil and Mixed Media on Panel
by Ruth Andre
I recently started reading the book, "Claude and Camille" by Stephanie Cowell. There was a quote by Claude Monet in the forward of the book that made me think about painting and how some things are just so elusive when trying to paint them and still an artist tries.
“I have so much fire in me and so many plans. I always want the impossible. Take clear water with grass waving at the bottom, It’s wonderful to look at, but to try to paint it is enough to make one insane.” Claude Monet
It has been, "A Painting Day".

Bonjour chère amie,
Il n'est pas vraiment aisé de peindre un élément statique qui joue avec un autre tout en mouvement et transparence...
Challenge réussi !
Très joli triptyque...
Gros bisous ❀ ♡ ❀
