With the fall season fast approaching there are pumpkins popping up here and there as I drive the back roads. I love the pumpkin patches in the valley with the pumpkin vines looking rangy and wild. The painting today, "Pumpkin Patch" is my vision of the open fields and has led to,
"A Painting Day".

I love this Ruth. It reminds me of Gerhard Richter. Beautiful that you are taking your inspirations into your abstractions. I love seeing your new pieces.
