The second painting in the "War Bonnet" series is "Tali", the Cherokee counting word for Two. If you would like to learn more about the Cherokee language Linda L. Kinyon has written an informative article HERE. Working with layers of paint of different colors and textures has given this painting depth and a breath of air.
