This is the second painting in the new series, "Into the Night". I had originally planned to stack the paintings either vertically or horizontally to make a 12"x12" triptych. Then I thought how fun it would be to show them side by side. It is a sliver of a painting but one I see in a quiet meditative setting. The title brought back memories of those road trips where you are thinking home is just over the hill and just forty more miles. It has been, "A Painting Day".
