Rain in the Morning

Quarter Horses are athletic hard working horses especially on working ranches.  The work goes on day to day.  This little roan is waiting for his rider to start the day.  The herd of cows needs to be moved and he is ready.  This painting found a home with a Texas Rancher.  Following the herd made for, "A Painting Day".

Love the expression on this horse. His (I think it is a he?) eyes look dreamy, as if he is thinking about his day...
Lovely work Ruth.
