Here is the second Jack Rabbit of the triptych in progress. I am beginning to think when painting a triptych one needs to do them all at one time!!!!! Set the canvas' up and paint away. After the third Jack Rabbit is completed I may need to go back and and finesse all three paintings so they have a harmonic continuity. We shall see how it goes with Jack #3? Are you with me? Jack #1 was posted a few weeks ago so I will post him again next to Jack #2 below. Seeing Rabbits has made for, "A Painting Day".

Oh my gosh, Ruth! These rabbits are amazing!
Thank-you Linda!
Wonderful "Jack" rabbit paintings!
The third - kind of almost straight on? Fabulous. Durer couldn't have done better..
It looks like you are channeling 'Albrecht Durer' and his famous Rabbit Painting! Absolutely gorgeous work Ruth!
The soft subtle blue tone in the fur and background work so well.
Sweet and beautiful at the same time.

I absolutely think painting a triptych at the same time is a good idea. I would think it would save time in the long run. Having said that, I LOVE both of these rabbits but particularly this guy...great job!
They are both beautiful and look great together. I like the way you have integrated the blue color of the background into the fur on Jack 2. Can't wait to see the third one!
This is going to be the best ever! Love the way you paint animals. That is truly a gift- nothing else about it.....Love this and can't wait to see it together.
These jack rabbits are wonderful! Love the expressive eyes. Terrific job on the fur, also!
Great job!! I love the rabbits! I think they will look great all together!
