A Painting Day - Morning Frost - Ruth Andre

"Morning Frost"
6"x6"x.75" oil & mixed media on panel

Now that the season has changed there is frost on the pasture grasses each morning. The horses have a thin white coat on their backs as well. It has been, "A Painting Day".

Ruth, I really like these variations of your "Crossing" series. You continue to explore and push...almost always successfully!

Bruce, Thank-you for noticing my continued quest for art making. I do enjoy the abstract works and the freedom they provide.

Theresa, I look out and then hike out to feed the horses in the morning and the frost is there on the new green grasses. The frost must feed the grass to take off for winter's bounty. We will be mowing grass soon. Thank-you for your comment.
