Painting can takes its own path and so do painting titles. I was just finishing this painting and the title came to me so I am going with it. If you look at the painting closely you will see horizontal marks as well as the obvious vertical strokes of paint. I loved the intense orange moving to the delicious reds. Enjoying the red palette made for, "A Painting Day".

ruth, this is spectacular! i love everything about it. the hints of pink among the reds and oranges is perfect. i love the texture of it, the splash of white, it's wonderful. one of my favorites!
