A Painting Day - High Noon - Ruth Andre

"High Noon"
4.5"x4.5" Oil and Cold Wax on Paper
12"x12" Hand Cut Mat
Challenge Painting Forty-Eight
by Ruth Andre
It is summer with the days heating up making me take shelter from the sun mid day. It is especially quiet outside. Even the pesky ground squirrels stay in their underground tunnels until the breezes start late afternoon. It has been, "A Painting Day".

Wonderful! I love this color and you have really captured the feeling of high noon on a hot summer day! I sure would love to see all of these paintings in person.

Theresa, Thank-you for the wonderful comment. It would be fun to have these small works on display as a group. If only you were a little close we could visit studios.
