Old Oak

The Rancheria Valley is filled with old oaks that dot the hillsides and also there are clusters of oaks along the Rancheria Creek.  The road follow the creek into the valley and to our property.  We have an abundance of wild life that seek shelter and water at the creek's edge.  During the fall just before the oak leaves fall the trees have a muted color of browns and orange.  It is a beautiful time of year.  Painting the old oaks makes for, "A Painting Day".

Une belle touche... Des nuances de couleurs qui se marient parfaitement... Travail intéressant.

Love your exploration and willingness to experiment. These all look so different from the work I've slid into expecting from you . . . so good to shake me up visually! Beautiful textures and color!
